St. Vincent Program

Duquesne University currently offers all of its Master's Degree Programs in Counselor Education (Community, School, Marriage & Family) at the St. Vincent College Campus in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. Duquesne has an agreement with St. Vincent College to offer its entire master's program on the campus of St. Vincent. At the completion of the program, individuals will receive a Master's Degree and diploma from Duquense University and will attend the graduation ceremony at Duquesne. The program at St. Vincent is in no way affiliated with St. Vincent College other than the offering of courses on its campus.

The Counselor Education Master's Degree Programs at St. Vincent are designed for students who are employed full time throughout the week. All courses are offered on Saturdays ONLY. Students are expected to be enrolled full time and attend classes from approximately 9:00am - 5:00pm throughout the entire semester. Courses are sequenced so students can attend full-time and complete their degree in the shortest amount of time possible. Because of this sequencing of courses, acceptance for the Duquense University Program at St. Vincent, is only available in the Fall semester.

The convenience of Saturday classes also attracts students from Duquesne's main campus in Pittsburgh. This mix of students allows for exposure to a variety of experiences for both the St. Vincent and Main Campus students.
