"As for the best leaders, the people do not notice their existence. The next best, the people honour and praise. The next, the people fear, and the next the people hate. When the best leader's work is done, the people say, we did it ourselves!" - Lao-Tsu

The School of Education's Leadership Institute welcomes you to visit with us as we promote the development of new models of leadership through interdisciplinary and collaborative training and research projects.

Through a series of on-going projects, the Institute enhances the development of leaders, the development of human resources, and the development of organizations.

Through a series of special events, the Institute creates opportunities for transdisciplinary inquiry into the assumptions, characteristics and skills of effective leaders.

The School of Education's Leadership Institute is founded on the belief that the essence of effective leadership is not dependent on, and in fact transcends, the management of an organization's function.

Please don't hesitate to contact us with your thoughts and ideas so that, together, we may become the "best leaders!"
