Certificate in Instructional Technology

The Department of Instruction and Leadership in Education provides a concentrated 15-credit hour Certificate Program in Instructional Technology. The Pennsylvania Instructional Technology Specialists Certification is awarded upon completion of the program.

Receive your Pennsylvania Instructional Technology Specialists Certification in three semesters

After completing the Certificate program, you may apply for the Pennsylvania Instructional Technology Specialists Certification. Download the following documents:

C. PDE Form 338G. General Application

Learn how to create teacher-made technology-based instructional materials for the K-12 or Distance Learning classroom


ACT 48 Credit
Program participants may now request Act 48 credit for completion of courses in the Certificate in IT Program directly from the School of Education and University Registrar by sending an email with your name, social security number, courses to be credited, and semester taken to act48@duq.edu.
